Shipping Line
Baltic Line AS operates a fleet of three vessels under fixed weekly liner schedules at Baltic and North Sea.
During 30 years of operation Baltic Line has gained wide experience from carrying all kind of cargoes.
Baltic Line AS is part of the DSD Group, which has been established in 1855. In addition to Baltic Line, DSD group is active with modern fleet of tankers, short sea shipping and bus transports.
Baltic Line vessels offer multiple handling methods for break bulk. Via side ports line can accept any cargo which can be handled with forklifts such as pallets, big bags or bundles/packages/cases. Furthermore all vessels have normal hatches for cargo requiring crane handling.
The Baltic Line fleet is capable of carrying
Steel products and metals: coils, bars, sheets and plates.
Forest products: boards, paper and pulp.
Chemicals: pallets and big bags (also hazardous).
Containers: dry-, bulk- and tank containers.

Vessels and equipment
The Baltic Line fleet consist of three multipurpose conventional vessels.
MV Baltic Amelie
MV Baltic Amelie, 3000 dwt conventional side port vessel with tween decks.
All vessels are equipped with a wide range of lashing and securing equipment suitable for all kind of cargoes. Our crew is experienced for handling and lashing work onboard, vessels also have their own forklifts onboard.

BALTIC LINE’S GREEN INVESTMENTS AWARDED
October 16, 2024
We are pleased to inform that at Boliden Summit 2024 held in Stockholm October 15th 2024, Baltic Line AS was awarded with Boliden Supplier Recognition in Sustainability category.
The recognition was granted due to innovative approach in reducing CO2 emissions in the area of maritime transport, while simultaneously lowering costs.
We at Baltic Line highly honour this recognition which strongly motivates us to take further steps in green transition in shipping.

Mv Odda Marie sailing now greener thanks to Econowind sails assembled during her recent dry docking.
MV ODDA MARIE in dry dock
January 12, 2024
Mv Odda Marie entered into scheduled dry dock in Harlingen 2.1.2024 for three weeks. She will return to her normal liner schedule Odda-Amsterdam-Hull on week 4.
Dry docking program includes investments in energy saving devices by Baltic Line: Mv Odda Marie will be equipped with double ventifoil sails and shore power connection.
Mv Baltic Madonna is replacing mv Odda Marie at North Sea service on weeks 1-3.
BALTIC LINE AS Branch in Finland
January 1, 2024
Baltic Line AS will reorganize its operational setup for year 2024. A branch of Baltic Line AS has been registered in Finland with a task to run booking desk and vessel planning for Baltic Sea and North Sea services starting from January 1st 2024.
